Quick Update: Construction Drawing Phase

Thank you again for your generous support for our Hope Lives Campaign! Here’s a quick update on what’s happening because of your generosity:

  • The Building Committee has met four times since the end of August. The group has refined space utilization and hammered out details to maximize the efficiency and accuracy in the requests for proposal (RFP) process.
  • We have held detailed listening sessions with kitchen folks, music and media, children’s and family, and the Environmental Stewardship Team.
  • The architects have completed the schematic design and development phase and we are preparing to enter the construction drawing phase. You can see a preview of the blueprint design at the top of this post. With the construction plans now under way, gifts are being put to work immediately.

A number of people have already made payments toward their pledge of intention for the campaign, and we are grateful.  As you plan fulfillment of your commitment, we wanted to remind you that you have the freedom to complete your commitment in a way that best suits your financial needs.

With the construction plans now under way, gifts are being put to work immediately.  We have made a concerted effort to not take on additional debt for this project; however; we will utilize a construction loan at the prevailing interest rate.

If you have any questions about your pledge, donor advised funds, stock transfers, bundling, IRA giving or details regarding your gifts, please contact Patty Ingberg. She can be reached directly at 651.762.9174 or pingberg@saintandrews.org.  For additional questions on the campaign building status, please contact Christa Getchell at cgetchell@saintandrews.org or 651-762-9102.

We will keep you posted on updates as we anticipate breaking ground in spring of 2019!

Again, thank you for your continued support in the mission and ministry of this place. It is truly a pleasure to work with you on Building Hope and Transforming Lives!
